ABOUT RECOVERY 2.0
Recovery 2.0 is a global movement that embraces an holistic approach to recovery from addiction of all kinds. The community honors all effective paths to recovery and emphasizes the importance of mind-body practices such as yoga and meditation, athletics, nutrition and community as part of an effective path to recovery and joy in life.
The company was launched in 2013 by Tommy Rosen (himself in long-term recovery) with the mission of disseminating and teaching the most cutting-edge information about how to recover from addiction and thrive in one’s life of recovery.
Tommy wrote a book, which Hay House published in 2014 called Recovery 2.0: Move Beyond Addiction and Upgrade Your Life. The book is now being adopted into treatment centers and is considered by leaders in the field to be one of the most important reads when it comes to explaining the way out of addiction as well as establishing a lifestyle conducive to long-term sustainable recovery.
Recovery 2.0 offers two free-to-attend online conferences each year, which are attended by tens of thousands of people and are likened to attending a University of the Recovery Arts.
THE COACHING PROGRAM
Recovery 2.0 also offers regular online group coaching programs which are 8-weeks in length and offer inspiration, tools and community to work on and strengthen every aspect of one's life.
Currently, the community numbers approximately 250,000 globally and consists mostly of people whose lives have been touched by addiction in one form or another. Some are dealing with active addiction. Others are on a path of recovery. Many of us are family members or loved ones of a person dealing with addiction. And still others work in the recovery field.
Very soon, Recovery 2.0 will begin building an online library of video teachings aimed at educating any interested person about addiction, how to move beyond it and ultimately, how to find fulfillment on the path of recovery, which is really the path of discovery that all Human Beings are walking.
